第五天：祈求得到剛毅之恩

 天主聖神，全能的天主，祢曾如此美妙地改變宗徒，使他們從軟弱變

得強大、懦弱變得勇敢。祢曾支持殉道者接受各種酷刑，使聖人堅持他

們的戰斗與工作。祢曾幫助多少靈魂忍受他們的痛苦。謙虛與軟弱的靈

魂俯伏朝拜祢。啊，如果我曾在危險與誘惑中呼求祢，我就不會有今天的下場，這樣不幸地得罪祢。既然已錯了，我只有後悔與哭泣，以後再

也不敢依持自己的力量，但懇求祢大力的救援。啊，天主聖神，祢是我

的希望，我的救援。請求祢賜我祢的力量。

  聖母瑪利亞，您是聖神有力與貞潔的淨配，請為我求得剛毅之恩。

剛毅之恩      Fortitude

聖神的力量不同於人的力量， 充滿暴力與佔有慾， 同時是短暫不能

持久的。聖神的力量是柔和、平安、堅定不變。這力量在耶穌苦難時，

以靜默的溫柔以及毫不抵抗的方式表現出來。剛毅的神恩給予我們被宰

羔羊耶穌的溫柔與勝利。

 天主聖神，全能的天主，祢曾如此美妙地改變宗徒，使他們從軟弱變得

強大、懦弱變得勇敢。祢曾支持殉道者接受各種酷刑，使聖人堅持他們的

戰斗與工作。祢曾幫助多少靈魂忍受他們的痛苦。謙虛與軟弱的靈魂俯

伏朝拜祢。啊，天主聖神，祢是我的希望，我的救援。我再也不敢依持

自己的力量， 但全心依靠祢的力量。

Light immortal! Light Divine! Visit these hearts of Yours, And our inmost being fill!

The Gift of Knowledge:

The gift of Knowledge enables the soul to evaluate created things at their true worth--in their relation to God. Knowledge unmasks the pretense of creatures, reveals their emptiness, and points out their only true purpose as instruments in the service of God. It shows us the loving care of God even in adversity, and directs us to glorify Him in every circumstance of life. Guided by its light, we put first things first, and prize the friendship of God beyond all else. "Knowledge is a fountain of life to him that possesseth it."

Prayer:

Come, O Blessed Spirit of Knowledge, and grant that I may perceive the will of the Father; show me the nothingness of earthly things, that I may realize their vanity and use them only for Your glory and my own salvation, looking ever

beyond them to You, and Your eternal rewards. Amen.
