第二天：祈求獲得敬畏的神恩

 天主聖神，聖愛和真理之神。我朝拜祢，感謝祢賜我的一切恩寵。過

去，我曾讓祢失望，從我心中驅逐祢！我真的應該被祢拋棄，打入永無

翻身的深渊內。為什麼我會如此悲慘呢？因為我的心靈沒有這敬畏祢的

神恩。今天，我深切的痛悔，我痛悔我的罪過。天主聖神，請忘卻我以

前忘恩負義的行為，祈求祢賜我這重要的敬畏神恩，使我從此痛恨罪惡

，不敢再犯罪得罪祢，即使是最小的過失。對天主祢，常帶著孩子敬畏

的心，在一切神業中，不會習以為常而跌入冷淡的過失。天主聖神，我

懇求祢，因耶穌基督的功勞，藉聖母瑪利亞的轉禱，賜我這寶貴的敬畏

敬畏的神恩      Fear

 這敬畏的神恩不是指畏懼天主， 而是經驗到自己的微小以及天主的偉

大。這神恩讓我們不驕傲地依靠自己， 而是像小孩子般信賴地投到天父

的懷中。這是聖女小德蘭所說的「神嬰小路」。

敬畏的確带有害怕的意思， 害怕父親不高興， 害怕離開父親的道路， 但這是出于愛， 出于對父親的尊敬與愛慕。聖經告訴我們， 這敬畏的神恩是智慧之基（箴1， 7），它是光榮與喜樂（德1，11）

 天主聖神，感謝祢賜我這重要的敬畏神恩，使我從此痛恨罪惡，即使是

最小的過失都不敢犯罪得罪祢。常帶著孩子敬畏的心對祢天主，在一切神

業中，不會習以為常而跌入冷淡的過失中。

Second day    (Saturday, 6th Week of Easter)

Come, Father of the poor. Come, treasures which endure; Come, Light of all that live!

The Gift of Fear:

The gift of Fear fills us with a sovereign respect for God, and makes us dread nothing so much as to offend Him by sin. It is a fear that arises, not from the thought of hell, but from sentiments of reverence and filial submission to our heavenly Father. It is the fear that is the beginning of wisdom, detaching us from worldly pleasures that could in any way separate us from God. "They that fear the Lord will prepare their hearts, and in His sight will sanctify their souls."

Prayer:

Come, O blessed Spirit of Holy Fear, penetrate my inmost heart, that I may set you, my Lord and God, before my face forever, help me to shun all things that can offend You, and make me worthy to appear before the pure eyes of Your Divine Majesty in heaven, where You live and reign in the unity of the ever Blessed Trinity, God world without end. Amen.
